More Arthur
I’ve been trying to figure out what will get Arthur to play. Clearly, nothing in the toy box interested him! He viewed the laser pointer with contempt. He just stared at the feathers-on-a-stick with a “You’re joking, right?” expression. The … Continue reading
He makes me laugh every day
At least it feels that way. The other morning I went to make the bed (see? I generally do) and as I grabbed the sheet to pull it up there was a “muurhp”: I pulled back the sheet and there … Continue reading
Kitten pictures
Last night I went in and everyone but Mandy was asleep. My arrival woke them up — sort of: Eventually everyone went to play except Mac: And after I changed the litter boxes: None of them actually went; just played … Continue reading
Arthur
I haven’t mentioned Arthur much and now he may leave sooner than I expected. I got an email yesterday from one of the adoption counsellors, that said someone was interested in Arthur and included this: She has a weakness for … Continue reading

Leah update!
In case you didn’t see the TCR update on Leah, she’s doing great in her foster home and is ready to be posted for adoption. I even got some video of her. Amazing to see.
Scenes from the weekend
Another busy weekend with a pretty long Bowl-a-thon “de-brief” meeting and a major clean up of the kitten room. In between I tried to get pictures. I rarely get pigeons, so this was quite an event. They only stayed a … Continue reading
A visit with the kittens
My friend and fellow TCR volunteer, Joanna, came to see the kittens last week. I asked her to write a guest post. Heather is one of the two people responsible for my transformation from cat-hater to Crazy Cat Lady (seriously, … Continue reading
Finally!
No more bottles! Just in time. The last can of formula only has about a teaspoon in it. Mandy is still suffering from diarrhea, likely worm-induced. Unfortunately, there’s nothing much we can do to treat it until she gets bigger. … Continue reading
Poor housekeeping art
I noticed this water spot on my kitchen sink. The white-ish colour is probably from kitten formula. Is it some kind of message? Other than “clean the sink”?
