I took Lucky to one of our partner stores a while ago. He was scared, at first, but started to settle. He had to go back to his comfort food (Whiskas dry) but quickly started transitioning back to healthy food.

After a couple of days the volunteers reported that he was coming around and they thought he was very sweet. Then I got this great report from the Store Coordinator:

He is good. He is eating and getting lots of love. He is very interested in what is going on in the store. He is suuuuuch a handsome man!! I really enjoyed my time with him and everyone raves about how sweet he is.
He is eating well. I was trying to play with him a bit but he just looked at me like I was crazy lol. I gave him a big kiss and hug from you.

On Saturday night, one week to the day, I got the notification that he’d been adopted. 🙂  His new people even ventured out in our horrible spring storm to pick him up! Happy Tails sweet, gentle boy.
