Manny has gone back to his regularly scheduled Foster Home. Everyone at work is very sad.

Lucky is posted! Two days after he went “live” there was an inquiry. We had a meet ‘n’ greet scheduled but they cancelled due to illness. In the meantime, we had another big breakthrough; one morning as I got breakfast ready he came and rubbed against my legs!! And the other night he nibbled at some wet food! He still runs from me sometimes, but it’s most definitely two-steps-forward-one-back.

Bernadette is a sweet girl, transferred from a shelter just outside Toronto. Not sure what her story is; their notes are … skimpy. There’s no age, no indication she’s spayed! She’s clearly been a pet; she’s clean and, um, well fed. 🙂 She does seem to have a “cherry eye“. She was given antibiotics by the shelter so I don’t know if it’s a true cherry eye or just some leftover inflammation.  She seems to have some litterbox issues which is most likely what landed her in the shelter. 😦  So crazy-making!! Just a little research can go a long way. I already have an idea what might be going on. We’ll see.

About Adventures in Cat Fostering

I am a cat fosterer for Toronto Cat Rescue. I also have two cats of my own, Jonesy, the black and white, and Murphy, the brown tabby, in the photo. Both were adopted from Toronto Cat Rescue.
