A Rough Life

Poor Murphy. He finally gets rid of all those fosters and then this.

I came home the other day to severely scattered front door mats. It happens, but it’s unusual during the day. And no one met me at the door — very unusual.

Took me a bit to realize it was fire alarm testing day in my building. No doubt Murphy was snoozing in his regular spot when the alarm went off. Poor guy. A few minutes after I got home he came slinking out of the bedroom.

About Adventures in Cat Fostering

I am a cat fosterer for Toronto Cat Rescue. I also have two cats of my own, Jonesy, the black and white, and Murphy, the brown tabby, in the photo. Both were adopted from Toronto Cat Rescue.
