Dot has been getting around. And everyone who meets her is smitten.
I am SO very lucky that I can take special needs fosters to work. I try not to abuse the privilege but Dot’s still too little to be left all day and, besides, Dexter still needs his meds 4x a day! And it’s a nice stress relief break for people. Our IT guy was caught snuggling Dot — with Dexter at this feet, watching.
Everyone is entranced by her; she’s the smallest, feistiest foster I’ve brought in a while. She is rapidly gaining health and strength, though she still sleeps a lot, of course.
She was a huge hit at the vet office, as well. Allison had already fallen for her when we visited earlier. Now she’s completely smitten and Dr. Yvonne has joined the “Team Dot”.
I feel a little bad for Dexter. Without her sucking — sometimes literally 😉 — all the limelight, he’d be a star. He’s a cuddly, playful, sweetheart who purrs when you look at him. Still, he manages to get plenty of attention, too.
