Sweet 100!

Jasmine and the Flowers went to the store on Friday night. It took them about a day to settle in and be the playful little dudes we all know and love. Jasmine is not thrilled but doing well for her. Sunday afternoon, three of the four kittens were adopted. Lotus on his own and Bee Balm & Quince together. I’m really hoping Jasmine and Cosmos might get adopted together. A foster can dream!

On Saturday I went to Toronto Animal Services to pick up new fosters.

Meet my new family! And one of these two little peanuts is my 100th foster!!!

Mama is not nearly as relaxed as she looks — she’s just squinting at the flash. But she enjoys being petted. They’re quite orange in the photos but much more “buff” in real life. The kittens are a boy and a girl. And healthy? Holy smokes. At ten days old they are 267grams/.59lbs (boy) and 280grams/.62lbs!!! (girl). Only Lotus, of the Flowers, was bigger at 282grams. 😉 The other three Flowers were much smaller.

They need names. I’m thinking since there’s “only” three, I’ll name them all with the same first letter. I’m thinking mama Fae, baby Fern, and baby Flynn.

About Adventures in Cat Fostering

I am a cat fosterer for Toronto Cat Rescue. I also have two cats of my own, Jonesy, the black and white, and Murphy, the brown tabby, in the photo. Both were adopted from Toronto Cat Rescue.
