Black kittens haven’t traditionally been my favourite. (Though my attitude to black cats has changed a lot — I’ve had so many, how could it not? I didn’t dislike them, I just wasn’t a fan.) But a whole gang of them — black kittens — is pretty darn adorable!
Or one.
I was looking a photos of some of my previous litters of kittens. At the same age as the flowers, they look much older. So I tried to figure out why. I think it’s because on the others — with lighter faces and/or markings — you can see their kitten features. With the Flowers, you can’t really see their faces/features. So you can’t see them growing and changing. I think. 😉
I love black cats! Thanks for sharing. Those big blue eyes are so cute. I am getting very broody for a kitten! 🙂

Mostly they do with us. And these ones, early in the season, should have no problem. Fingers crossed!

I love black kittens but they are a pain to photograph, and even more of a pain to identify more than a few hours after you take the picture.
I do have to say one nice thing about them is they really get you to step up your photography game.

THIS! Heh … somebody asked me who it was in the sequence of four. I said “I think it’s Lotus. If I don’t go straight to the computer, and transfer and label, them all hope is lost.” 😉
