Jasmine is the boss

I came home the other day and the kittens had disappeared from the box. I wasn’t worried; it’s a small room and I’d purposely barricaded the closet. She’d just taken them all out of the box and put them on the floor (!) behind it. In the process, Quince had lost his collar.

I picked them all up and put them back in the box. Jasmine moved Bee Balm out again. I put him back. She took him out again. I put him back and rearranged things so there wasn’t really a place behind the box. She took out Quince (I think) and moved the box to create a space!

I capitulated. I took the box away and put a nice big, old, duvet cover under the desk with rolled up towel walls on either side. Jasmine was very happy!

I’ll keep the box. Maybe when they start moving around and she’s having a hard time corralling them, she’ll appreciate it more. πŸ˜‰

I learned long ago that if a mother moves her kittens to not attempt to move them because she’ll always put them back.

Mother always thinks about a good place for her child, that’s box, maybe feeling irritated for them or it is too small, so she moved to another place.
