In all the excitement I didn’t announce that Arthur has been adopted! So great — he was on the website less than 48 hours before I got the call.  He’s a single cat to a single person. All the love and attention just for him. 😉

And I’ve already had an update:

I just wanted to let you know that Arthur is doing just fine.  He seems to be very happy, in fact.  Since he’s been in his new home, his tail has been almost constantly swinging and flicking back and forth as he explores, he’s been entwining himself in my legs and he’s come to me many times for petting.  I’ve even had some slow blinks!  He is such a sweet fellow and I’m so pleased that he is here with me.

So happy for him.

A quick, funny story of Arthur from just before he left … One night I woke up and heard these strange little meowing sounds. I jumped out of bed and rushed into the foster room, thinking kittens were on their way. Jasmine — who’d been lying there asleep — stood up to greet me and get petted. Confused, I went back to bed only to realize that the noise was Arthur snoring.

About Adventures in Cat Fostering

I am a cat fosterer for Toronto Cat Rescue. I also have two cats of my own, Jonesy, the black and white, and Murphy, the brown tabby, in the photo. Both were adopted from Toronto Cat Rescue.
