Flattered

I got the loveliest email a few weeks ago. One of my previous adopters emailed me for help/advice on adopting a second cat! Benson was a lovely cat who, though he wasn’t here long, made an impression. He was a handsome, strong-willed, big personality guy. Someone lost an impressive cat when they let him get away (literally).

His family is looking for the “kitten experience” this time. Closer to their timeline, I was (and still am) going to put some feelers out in the two stores I have connections to as well as on the Foster Parents’ Page. I suspect Benson will need a lively, confident kitten. Not bossy, but not easily intimidated either. He’s the kind of cat where it could go either way. He’s been master of all he surveys for a couple of years now and may resent a newcomer. Or, he might welcome an apprentice. 😉

But then Jasmine came along! So Benson’s family will watch Jasmine’s kittens arrive and grow and see if any of them “speak” to them. I will NOT be offended if they still decide to look around but it would be a lot of fun if they choose one from here.
