Laid out like that they don’t look like as much as it felt! But Oprah and the Trees were here a long time. And ones like Percy, Pete, and Jellybean took a bit of extra care.

Hardest? Jellybean, of course. Not just because we lost him but because he was such a worry while he was here. Trying to get him to eat was such a battle. 😦

Easiest? Maybe a tie. Diego — such a sweetie and got himself adopted before he was supposed to — and Bear — adopted before he could be posted.

I had a bunch of firsts and not all good: first pregnancy and birth, first polydactyl, first FIV+, first serious injury, first cat lice.

All those kittens and all those tricky eaters meant another record high for expenses — by a lot! Hurray for tax deductions.

I’m so curious to see who 2017 will bring!

About Adventures in Cat Fostering

I am a cat fosterer for Toronto Cat Rescue. I also have two cats of my own, Jonesy, the black and white, and Murphy, the brown tabby, in the photo. Both were adopted from Toronto Cat Rescue.

I can’t believe that you had all this going on only last year. I remember how worried you were about Oprah recovering before the “Trees” were born. I am so happy Oprah got adopted. All the best for 2017!!

I was looking at it and thinking ‘wow, that was a lot’ 🙂 all a matter of perspective.
