So long, Bear

Bear was, indeed, adopted! Lucky boy! The lovely Shannon managed to re-book her flight (she’d been away for the holidays) and arrived only a couple of hours later than she originally intended. Bear, having been napping all afternoon, took a few minutes to come out but happily accepted head rubs and treats. 😉 He was NOT thrilled about going in the crate (he peed on me) but it was a nice big crate with lots of room for his long drive (between two and three hours!).

img_5967rShannon (who reads the blog – that’s how Bear got adopted) posted a quick update when they got home:

Bear, now Petey after some experimentation on our drive, has made it home safe and sound. He’s in the guest room, chatting away. Hoping for an easy introduction to his new feline siblings, otherwise, I’ll be sleeping on the floor to keep him company behind closed doors tonight.
