Welcome home!

Of course the flight was delayed.

Of course it took forever (mostly because of our STUPID airport taxi rules) to get out of the airport.

Of course it was SNOWING on top of Sunday night traffic. (Making me grateful for the stupid airport taxi rules; cabs from the airport charge by the “zone” not on a meter.)

But when I finally got home oh! the rejoicing! 😉  I know (and am glad) my guys love my cat sitter. But I’m also glad they missed me. It’s the longest I’ve been away in a long time — maybe ever in their lives! I was practically attacked before I could put my bags down. And unpacking instead of cuddling was NOT appreciated.

Both of them slept with me all night (unusual) and I awakened to Murphy purring so hard he was squeaking. He does that sometimes but this was sustained and unprovoked. He was just lying there. A-dorable!

Even better, the love fest’ continued when I got home from work. More snuggling, more purring and they wouldn’t let me out of their sight.

About Adventures in Cat Fostering

I am a cat fosterer for Toronto Cat Rescue. I also have two cats of my own, Jonesy, the black and white, and Murphy, the brown tabby, in the photo. Both were adopted from Toronto Cat Rescue.
