Something adorable this way comes

Look who arrived last night — purring in the arms of his volunteer driver!

Meet Ace. A stray taken into Toronto Animal Services and transferred to TCR because he has a cold.

See the point at the end of his (short!) tail?! He has big paws. He also has bald spots on his neck and behind his ears. 😦  And an oversized purr-box! 😉  All he wants is to be petted or brushed. Hence the photos of him eating; the only time I could get him to hold still!! You can’t really see it here but he’s actually brown — rich chocolatey brown with black highlights. He almost has a Siamese mask in black. The brown is kind of unusual and could be from illness or parasites but it’s a lovely colour and I hope it stays.

I suspect after a couple of days of meds keeping him in quarantine is going to be a challenge. He won’t be here long I don’t think. As soon as the URI clears up and he gets neutered he should be snapped up.
