Today’s post …

… courtesy of Jen!

Jen is a fellow TCR volunteer and Bowlathon committee member. She came by to “drop off some stuff”. The fact that there are adorable kittens here had nothing to do with it. πŸ˜‰ The new Trees were sound asleep. But the original Trees had just had a nap and dinner and were delightfully scampery. Jen got some lovely photos:

Cedar! CEDAR!

I spent the time chasing down escaping kittens (Aspen!) and keeping Oprah calm. She doesn’t mind people playing with her kittens — at all! — but she’s not keen on the kittens wandering outside their room.

Jen also got to witness Cedar eating canned food for the first time and, with me, get proof positive that some of them are eating kibble!

And the new Trees gained weight! Magnolia had two weigh-ins where she’d lost. She’s so active — like her big sister Aspen. I wish I could keep the little ones confined so they didn’t use up so much energy chasing everyone else around but Oprah won’t have it.

About Adventures in Cat Fostering

I am a cat fosterer for Toronto Cat Rescue. I also have two cats of my own, Jonesy, the black and white, and Murphy, the brown tabby, in the photo. Both were adopted from Toronto Cat Rescue.
