Oh no!

I’m having flashbacks — and not the good kind.

Sweet Pea was transferred urgently to Toronto Cat Rescue (TCR) on January 25 with severe injuries caused by a fall from a 12th floor apartment building balcony. She is another terribly sad reminder of the dangers of balconies. The fall broke Sweet Pea’s jaw and she has injuries to her chest and lungs. Her owners could not afford to treat her injuries and she was surrendered to Toronto Animal Services before being transferred to TCR. We are getting her all the care that she needs but her surgeries will be expensive as they require the help of a specialist.

Sweet Pea’s vet bills are estimated at $2,000 and the road to recovery will be a long one. This girl is very sweet even through the pain. Please help us get Sweet Pea back to health by making a donation today.

Such a beautiful girl. If you can manage anything (I sent a little something) it’s really appreciated. Twelve storeys! This girl deserves every chance we can give her.
