Poor Maggie. She gets short shrift around here. She doesn’t need any special attention; all is good with her health and she is well socialized. She still seems afraid that if I’m picking her up, she’s going to be contained and she doesn’t like that. But she likes the attention. She’s very, very playful, but she plays rough and hard. She nearly gave me a heart attack the other night. I was cuddling Cricket, who leapt away and took off across the room. Faster than I could believe, Maggie was on top of her! I don’t think Maggie’d hurt her, but I can’t take that chance.

IMG_4385I suspect this may be some of her trouble with the boys, too. Just too rough, too eager. Although I did see some nice gentle nose-touching with Jonesy the other day.

I hardly have any photos of her; she’s either racing around or asleep under the bed. But I have to get some … she needs to be posted and she’s scheduled to go to our adoption centre on Thursday!

About Adventures in Cat Fostering

I am a cat fosterer for Toronto Cat Rescue. I also have two cats of my own, Jonesy, the black and white, and Murphy, the brown tabby, in the photo. Both were adopted from Toronto Cat Rescue.
