I LOVE updates!

I got a new photo of Bree:

WP_20150728_005who had no trouble with her vaccination boosters!

And a truly wonderful update on Abigail’s (now Astrid) first week in her forever home:

She snoozed all the way from your place to her new home, and upon arrival explored quite fearlessly!! Our other kitty wasn’t quite sure what to make of her, but was gentle – though I’m quite sure he said some rude things in kitty language. We made sure that everyone got equal treats and snuggles. She stayed in my room for the first few nights, with a tray for water and crunchies, and a private litterbox.
By Friday evening, she and her new brother were on good terms, lounging near one another. They take turns at the kitty water bowls and crunchie bowls. So cute.
We changed her name to Astrid, and she seems to like it.
She roams happily and fearlessly throughout the house, and has realized that she can go on window-side bookshelves to nap in the sun, and come to anyone at any time for pets and snuggles.

About Adventures in Cat Fostering

I am a cat fosterer for Toronto Cat Rescue. I also have two cats of my own, Jonesy, the black and white, and Murphy, the brown tabby, in the photo. Both were adopted from Toronto Cat Rescue.
