Randall a.k.a Fergus

I got an update from Fergus’s adopter. Little guy’s name is now Randall. I looove it. But it does seem like a cat, not kitten, name. Fortunately, he’s going to grow to be a cat! 😉

Thank goodness his adopter is cautious and very responsible. She already had him booked in to meet her vet when she noticed something not quite right. She took him in early to the vet and discovered he had an infection at his neuter site. 😦  Poor little dude had to be anesthetized and have it drained and fixed up. But he’s fine and has bounced back.

The vet said the incision site had become quite infected. He had to go in for a minor surgery and go under anesthesia and have it re-opened and drained and was given antibiotics for the next 10 days. Was probably more traumatic on me than it was on him to be honest.

By his check up appointment on Monday he was doing A LOT better. He is almost fully healed and definitely acting like a normal kitten !!

Since then my husband and I have started to really bond with him and he has definitely become a member of our family! He has such a distinct personality and is so playful and affectionate, we just love him!

I’m so grateful that another one of my charges has landed in such a good home!!
