Cora and Archie

Sweet Cora’s quarantine was finished last night. She’s not comfortable coming out of the bathroom — the bigger world clearly scares her — so we’re going to take it slowly. But that doesn’t mean Archie can’t go in and visit her! I was a bit nervous as he can be quite rambunctious. He jumps right on top of Carson. He battles through the chair rungs with Murphy. He torments Jonesy. With Cora? He went up to her, gently sniffed her all over and, when I had her out with me on the couch, he buried his nose in her fur, inhaling deeply. Multiple times. Of course I couldn’t get a picture of it as she was too scared of the new world for me to let go of her.

I’ve taken the towel away from the bottom of the door and they were happily playing, from either side of the door, later in the evening.

I tried to take some ordinary pictures of her, but her face still hasn’t healed. She may always have runny eyes, but I’m hoping to get the scabs from scratches healed, at least.
