Update and pictures

Poor Carson was so terrified at the vet that she suspected the heart murmur she detected was from fear! Still we have to disclose it. The good news is that he’s fine. Teeth are good. However, she discovered one of the worst case of ear mites she’d seen! And she brushed out his mats. He’s home now, sulking, though much quieter than before. No more wandering around crying, thank goodness. I’ll just have to work harder to win his trust. Good thing he likes treats!

In other good news, Archie has been adopted! Not a big surprise — he’s pretty irresistible. 😉 He’s still here for a few more days. His new family wants to make some arrangements before taking him home. (I got another call on the weekend that someone else was interested in him, too.)

It was a long weekend here and bitterly cold. So it was easy to huddle inside and take lots of photos. Fortunately, it was also very sunny.

This first one was taken before the weekend. I was so excited that Carson came out to sit with us. Sadly, after his vet visit on Saturday, he has not appeared again. I’m hoping since he did it once, he’ll do it again.

Apparently Jonesy has limits …

… which is why I got this shot! He rarely sits on the couch because he’s usually on his pillow.
