Did I say “different”?

Yes, plans for the week have already changed.

First, I forgot that I was dog sitting all week. Well, not forgot exactly. I knew I was. I just kept forgetting to include her in my plans. Thank goodness she’s great around the cats. Very calm, no eye contact. The resident cats are completely used to her. Benson and Archie are going to take a little time. I think Archie will be fine, eventually, but Benson’s a bit of a bully.

Second, the new cat isn’t coming until Friday. That actually takes quite a bit of pressure off. I was trying to figure out how I was going to feed six animals in four rooms! At least Archie is finished his antibiotics, so I can feed him and Benson together now.

Benson and Archie play together very nicely now — rough, but nicely. Lots of chasing and wrestling. I even spotted some spontaneous grooming.

Side note: Archie is so adorably small! This morning I was looking at him and Jonesy walking around and thought “he could just about walk under Jonesy”. Not two minutes later, he did just that!

About Adventures in Cat Fostering

I am a cat fosterer for Toronto Cat Rescue. I also have two cats of my own, Jonesy, the black and white, and Murphy, the brown tabby, in the photo. Both were adopted from Toronto Cat Rescue.
